The Cheeseburger.

I don't know what is going on with me but I have been craving cheeseburgers.
This is very strange for me. I am not a fast food/hamburger joint person at all.
Last week I ate at In & Out with Josh, Five Guys with Josh, his dad, and brother, and some new burger place with my dad.
Please new weird obsession, don't stay long! My body hates you.

Date with Tera

My friend Tera and I spent the day together last week as we were out of school.
Shopped, ate at Cafe Niche, dessert at Hatch Family chocolates...
Tera and I have known each other since Jr. High and she has always been such a good friend.
I love good friends.

Love is cool.

I know some people are maybe sick of me being to cheesy newlywed...but oh well.
I've gotta say it. Marriage is a million times more amazing than I thought it would be, and apparently I thought it would be pretty cool before since I went for it!
The feelings I have for Josh went from what I thought was A LOT to way way more and they continue to grow every day.
I love being able to focus on real life things and chase our dreams together. I have the best partner and we make the best team. This so far has truly been the most fun time of my life and I wake up every day excited for what's in store. I CANNOT imagine my life without him or with anyone else. I know for a fact that I married my soulmate and I am so so sooo happy that we found each other (with a little help) and that Josh is the person he is.
This photo was taken a couple months ago at the place I said I love you to him (yep, I said it first and he didn't respond for TWO weeks!!)

Mooooochie's

Okay I realize this picture looks a little gross, but don't let it fool you. The philly cheese steaks at Moochie's are incredible. Josh and I took our nephew Kelsen there the other day to experience the greatness.

We still know how to party.

Josh and I ventured outside our bubble last night and spent the evening at a concert (Trevor Hall) with some friends. Our good friend Sam was in town from San Francisco and we ended the night eating "healthy snacks" with Chuck and Julie. We were super tired this morning, but it was worth it!

Apparently I have some allergies!

Since Josh and I started dating, he has been bugging me about seeing an allergy doctor to get tested because of my constant runny nose and itchy eyes. I always knew I was allergic to animals, so I would just try to be more careful around them. I figured I had some allergies but was so used to the symptoms that I didn't think much of it.
This morning I was in for quite a surprise.
The allergy doctor could not believe that I had never been in before!
So here it is: I am allergic to pollens (more specifically 11 out of 15 kinds of trees), very allergic to grasses, weeds, and animals (more specifically horses, dogs, and cats).
My allergies basically cover the calendar year and apparently that is why the symptoms never seem to cease for long.
It is nice having some questions answered and I am going to look into the allergy shots.
I am curious what it would be like to not have these symptoms after being so used to it by now!
I bet pretty nice...

...until we meet again...in two months!!

I always love having my sister and her family here and I cannot wait for it to be permanent in just two months!
My nieces and nephews are the cutest ever. I know, I know...everyone thinks that about the kids in their family!
But I just adore them.
Although it might be nice for them to have their own house...
After church today Jane came downstairs in about four different pairs of my shoes.
They are now scattered all over my parents house!

My best friend's wedding

I'll be honest, I ended the beautiful day in tears.
My best friend since 7th grade not only got married last night but is moving in just a few days...for good!
I had a sudden realization that things are changing and we are growing up.
But she did look stunning and I am so excited for her to start this journey!

Cake bites

Go get some.

humane society of utah

I am really grateful to this place for doing the best they can in taking care of family-less dogs. Although it makes me sad going there, I feel good helping out by taking dogs out to walk/run around.
Our niece Lexie stayed with us last weekend so we decided to take her to see the doggies. She LOVED it...just as we had suspected. It also happened to be "Dogs and Cats Day" so we had to paint our faces, of course.

Josh: the baby wisperer

Josh has this thing about babies...he thinks they are "so boring and don't do anything cool..." He is much more interested in toddlers and kids. Anyway, he met Luke for the first time a couple nights ago. The second Luke looked up at Josh he started smiling constantly!! Of course Josh melted. I'm pretty sure he secretly loves babies now, but either way he will be the one to calm ours because they apparently LOVE him!

Calli's shower

One of my best friends is getting married on SATURDAY! I am so excited for her but it is bitter sweet since she and her fiance leave right after to move to Florida...for good!
I guess it's a pretty fun place to visit!
Anyway I had a shower for her on Saturday and it was quite fun to see some friends that I hadn't seen since High School! Calli will be a beautiful bride.

Gourmandise: take two

Our niece Lexie stayed with us last weekend while her parents were in Vegas. On Saturday we decided to walk to Gourmandise again for breakfast. This time, we were much more pleased! Lexie even decided it is her new favorite restaurant. I had the creme brule oatmeal... wow.
This is the pattern on a tree near our apartment. I think it is so pretty!

green egg pizza night

There are few things I love more than italian style pizza. Saturday was make your own pizza night at my parents house. SO yummy.
