Thank you so much for voting for my sister in the "sewviver" competition. She made it past the last round and is now in the finals!
Please take a minute to vote for her one last time!! Her dress is leap and bounds above the rest in quality and style, in my opinion.

This week the challenge was to make something for someone else, so she made some maternity duds for her pregnant sister (me)! Wahoo!
It is so easy. Just scroll to the bottom of the page and click on #1, then vote!

This weekend consisted of Bombay House, our favorite, with friends; cleaning our house and moving some things back in; Cafe Rio then girl time shellac-ing while the boys looked at motorcycles and guns (haha); Citrus Grill with friends; a long nap; dinner at Josh's dad's house…
We really love our weekends, but I'm going to try and have a good attitude about starting a new week!

The wife of one of Josh's mission buddies takes wonderful pictures. She asked Josh and I, a while back, to "model" for some wedding portraits for her portfolio. I am so excited that she sent me the files yesterday!
Click here for Trish's blog. She is great!
Here are some that I especially love…

I am pretty proud of myself for finding an amazing deal on this crib. I had seen it online and bookmarked it to look at later, then while browsing KSL I saw that someone had a brand new, never opened one they were selling for $200. less than the one online because they couldn't return it!
I called him immediately and Josh and I picked it up later that night. Then, of course I was eager to see it in person and made Josh set it up. I couldn't be happier with it!
It feels good to have one big baby need out of the way. Now we just have a million more things to start looking for!

We went down to Moab, did an awesome mountain bike ride, and then got sick and came home! I don't know what is going around but my whole family is getting it or has it. We ended up having a quiet Easter at our own home trying to recover, then went over to Josh's brother's house for dinner. Aside from being sick and cutting the trip short, it was still a great weekend!

I am now in my 28th week.
I cannot believe how fast this is flying by.
Aside from being ill (bad cold), I am feeling great.
I love feeling the baby move around all the time…he is especially active in the morning.
Appointments with my midwife are now going to be every two weeks, which I am excited about.
It makes me feel like we are getting closer to meeting our little one and I love the reassurance I get there.
I still cannot believe I am going to be a mom! Thank goodness I have a rock of a husband, who I know will be the most amazing dad in the world.
Seriously, I am so excited to see him hold this little one for the first time.

My mom has always made a "living" wreath during springtime for our front door. I have always loved it!
My sister, her and I got together to make our own this year for our own homes.

My sister Miranda sent me one of her adorable Project Baby shirts! I soo wish I would have started this earlier…but here we go starting with the third trimester!
I am now in my 27th week with a 2 lb "cauliflower" size baby growing inside of me!
The past couple weeks have been my biggest growth spurt yet. My belly is actually starting to get in the way a little bit and the extra lbs are starting to wear on me.
I am loving being able to hike, bike ride and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. It has been very therapeutic for my body and mind.
I am feeling nervous and excited for this child to get here. There is so much preparation that we haven't even started to do.
The movement I feel has changed from hard little kicks, to squirms (probably because he's getting a little cramped in there) and feeling a body part pressed up against my skin. I think he likes to sit up in my belly when I'm lying down because I often see a hard ball shape poking out making my belly into a tent.
I still cannot stand asian food or anything too smelly and I love very spicy mexican food, fruit, and veggies.
Sleep has become more challenging. I dream about sleeping on my belly.
I still can't believe this baby will be here in about three months. The reality of having my own child and being a parent still hasn't quite set in.
I am excited to start buying things for him and getting ready for his arrival!
