Our Saturday

I told Josh I would introduce him to Molca Salsa, so we went there for lunch. He said he recognized the place and has been there..so I guess I will just pretend I introduced him. 

 After lunch we were on a mission to go look at dogs at a pet store. There were no dogs to be found, so instead we went to the Humane Society. It was a fun, but a sort of heart breaking experience. 

If you want to go play with dogs, go help out there by walking the dogs. They are all so eager to get out of their cages. 

Side note: Josh has been researching dogs online ever since. It is a good thing our apartment doesn't allow pets because that gives us a good while to try and agree on one.

Dollar movie date night

I have a very large sweet tooth. I made Josh pull over so I could grab "a" snack for the movie. 

I have an issue of being indecisive with treats especially. 

 Here is Josh trying to get me to walk faster. He hates nothing more than being late to movies.

Sorry but I NEEDED the treats!

This made me smile today.

Italian blues

My husband watched Letters to Juliet with me last night. (I think he was feeling extra accepting of the movie choice because I'm sick.)

Anyway, it made me miss Italy. Badly. 

I cannot wait for the day I get to take Josh there and show him all of my favorite places/things.

Josh is fun. He is up for anything.

I asked him to come help assist me with Mallory and Nephi's engagements and he quickly agreed!

I LOVED having him there and it doesn't hurt that he has experience.

Mallory and Nephi

Mallory's sister is married to my cousin and she also lived with my parents while interning over the summer. She is absolutely darling with the most infectious smile....and can you believe her eyes?!

My little sister idolizes Nephi because of his guitar playing skills...he even taught her how to play a Jack Johnson song! 

This couple is definitely in love. It was so fun to spend a couple hours in Park City with them taking their engagements and I am so excited for their upcoming marriage! Congratulations you two!

Little Vegas getaway

Josh and I love road trips. 

On the way down to Vegas, we listened to about half of Eragon and loved it.

We had so much fun at the Lyon Shop! Amelia and Justin are so nice, along with the other photographers who were there. 

The rest of the weekend we spent visiting friends, walking the strip, eating A LOT, and hot tubbing.

Another great trip with my amazing husband!

 Josh and I are a little obsessed with the black salsa at Baja Fresh. Since we don't have one in Utah, we find one on every trip to go get our fix.

We love to dance...and sing (especially in the car).

Getting our modeling on..

Josh and I were lucky enough to be chosen to model for the Lyon Shop this weekend in Vegas. It is a photography workshop hosted and directed by one of my favorite photographers, Amelia Lyon and her husband Justin. 

So far Josh seems to be okay with the whole modeling thing, I think it's because he knows how much I look up to this photographer and am so excited to have this opportunity.

Love day

Josh woke me up in the morning with a mani/pedi gift card and an Urban Outfitters gift card, so naturally I spent the day shopping while he was at work.

We headed over to my parent's house for some pink waffles and spent the rest of the night with his family who is in town from California.

I love being married to this guy.

Pre Valentines celebration

We had the BEST ski day yesterday. I couldn't stop telling Josh how much fun I was having. The weather was absolutely perfect. 

After skiing we did a little shopping, decorated my parents car while they were on a date, listened to Elder Christofferson speak at our steak conference, took Mattie to our favorite chocolate shop (Hatch Family Chocolates), and took a walk around town. 

I was such a great day. I love getting to spend all Saturday and Sunday with my husband. He is definitely my most fun friend. 

One detailed party

My superhero-obsessed nephew Robbie turned six two days after my birthday. My sister plans the most decadent parties for her kids...I get exhausted just looking at the pictures.
