conference weekend

I loved conference weekend. Wonderful excuse to stay in comfy clothes all day and eat big breakfasts, while listening to the inspired messages of the leaders of our church.

taco night

Last night I made fresh salsa and fish tacos for dinner. I have to brag for a minute because they were pretty amazing...and it was my first time. Next time I think I'll make some of that white sauce they put on them at Lonestar. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I need the recipe.

getting a little crafty around here..

I think something about one of my crafty sisters moving to town has inspired me.
Crafts are way more fun when you have someone to craft with.

surprise date night.

My thoughtful husband picked me up on Friday with flowers waiting on my seat in his car. He took me up to the place where we (totally unexpectedly) got engaged. He brought take out and the blanket he asked me to marry him on. It was so calming to be up above all the hustle and bustle and be able to just relax with my love. Thanks Josh!!
Below is the exact spot where we hiked up to find candles and roses everywhere almost ONE YEAR ago.

Project Baby shirts!

My sister Miranda from One Little Minute discovered a genius way of keeping track of your pregnancy countdown, or the baby bump process..

Check it out in her words : HERE

Now, because of such a good response, she has decided to sell "Project Baby" shirts!

Check out the info: HERE

If you didn't catch it...

"Each shirt is $40+$5 priority shipping and comes complete with a red fabric pen for crossing off those weeks as they fly by! Wouldn't this be a cool gift for that good friend/sister that you know is pregnant even though no one else does, yet? Or a fun way to announce to family that you are expecting? So many possibilities:)"

good food, great friends...

Our friends Chuck and Julie came up to SLC from Provo last night. The boys went fishing and we went shopping. Then we met at LoneStar for some amazing food, as always.
Grateful for good friends.
