Weighs about ten pounds.
Smiles like crazy.
Tells me the most interesting stories with the most expressive faces.
Has had a few amazing nights of sleep, but so far they were just teasers.
Has deep, dark blue eyes and blonde blonde hair.
Is generally a mama's boy, but falls right asleep when Josh holds him.
Is extremely alert and loves to look around and take in the world.
Prefers to be held all day, every day.
Hates his carseat, unless we roll down his window.
Calms down quickly to the sound of running water.
Loves going on hikes in his baby carrier.
Doesn't mind getting lots of licks from Nora.
LOVES baths or showering with us.
Hardly cries at all (unless he's in his carseat).
Loves when we bounce him sitting on the exercise ball.
Does little giggles, but no hardly laughs yet.
My heart melts every time I look at our little man. Especially when he looks right into my eyes and gives me that gummy grin. I love seeing his personality shine through little by little.
I was given a blessing a while back that expressed how I would feel a joy beyond anything I had ever felt when I had children of my own. I think about that all the time with my little one and it is so so true. The feeling is indescribable.
i love him so much!! you two made such a great baby.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he loves to be swaddled also. Lucky, lucky. You are very blessed. I am so glad that you are enjoying this. I wish I could go back in time and make myself enjoy M.E. and not be so consumed by the postpartum depression. I don't know if it will ever go away. But Leo is very blessed to have you and Josh as his parents.
