Happy Halloween!

I feel like this holiday came and went really fast. I love Halloween, but the thought of listening to Christmas music is making me happy. We finally got around to carving our pumpkins last night and are so excited to pass out candy for our first time at our house!
Hope you all have a great evening!

Dog park & wings

A couple nights ago Josh and I had the strangest and most extreme craving for wings! Although we were in bed, we were so tempted to get up and go get some. We came to our senses little bit and decided to wait.
The next day Josh insisted we take Nora to the dog park, then finally go fix our craving. So we did.
We love the Tanner Park dog park trail. The colors are so pretty right now, even though it was freezing. It didn't bother Nora one bit as she jumped in the cold river. After we went to Wingers and got all you can eat wings. We definitely did eat all we could…and paid for it later with tummy aches.
But seriously: how good is the original sauce there? Mmmm.

Goodbye long golden locks..

Josh cut his hair. I think he looks adorable, but I definitely miss his locks. I kinda loved when he wore headbands too..
But he couldn't get over his hair "getting in his eyeballs," so he chopped it off.
Oh and Nora is official HUGE.

Lately: the good and the bad.

Good things:
I replaced my broken iPhone and got a new case for $150 thank to a nice genius at the Apple store.
Josh and I may have figured out our Halloween costume.
The mountains are gorgeous.
The weather is staying nice…for now.
Josh is one month away from taking the CFP.
Our one year anniversary is also next month.
I discovered sugar-free popsicles.
My nieces and nephews are darling darling darling.
We ate queso dip from Chili's at work.
A lot of opportunities are presenting themselves.
The house we fixed up to sell is on the market.
Nora has been really into cuddling lately. More so than usual.

Not so good things:
Josh leaves on a boys trip today.
I got hives from lying on Nora's bed…like an idiot.
The CFP is still a month away.
Josh is leaving.
Looking for another part time job.
Josh is leaving.

Thriller

Last night we went to Thriller with my family. It was fun to see the new numbers they added this year…especially the circus one! The show definitely put me in the Halloween mood. Now, I'm off to fight Nora for the pumpkin she keeps stealing.

Back to brown

I have hair ADD.

Nora time

Josh and I will find ourselves sitting around playing or cuddling with Nora for hours on end. Those are some of my favorite times with just the three of us.

The Hub (pun intended)

Here is my hub. Also, we checked out a little burger joint in Midway yesterday that my little sister suggested. It was pretty delicious, despite what Josh's face might express.

Pumpkin Patch

My sister has been really excited to take her kids to the Pumpkin Patch. Unfortunately we chose a bad day because it was so muddy! If anyone knows my sister…her kids wear nice shoes. My stomach turned a little watching them get destroyed in the mud! I'm thinking Josh and I may try again on a better day. We still need our pumpkins after all!

hats+jackets…already?!

All I want to do is complain complain about this weather. BUT I have made a goal for myself to be positive about it. So, last night we embraced it by getting out for a warm drink and strolling around the Gateway with Nora (who is just as wussy about the cold btw).

Stop Growing!

Remember when Nora was baby size, like this...
Well, now she is not so baby anymore. Don't worry, she still acts like a baby (chewed up my favorite swimsuit yesterday), just bigger.
Although she's got her quirks, we are still smitten with her. I can't get over her sideways run and lengthy limbs that she still doesn't know what to do with! We think she is the most beautiful dog in the world…but of course we are bias.
