Lately with photos.

The kids have been in an art class all summer in Park City. They hosted a gallery stroll for all the family to come see their art. Adorable.
Josh started off sugar a few weeks ago, so cherries are now officially both of our movie treat.
Elle is a fish and gets a little too brave on the diving board. She hit her face pretty hard.
Nora is getting HUGE. I can barely hold her. I miss baby Nora, but am excited for her to calm down a little.
And today, I dyed my hair even blonder. A little odd with summer wrapping up...but I thought what the heck.
Obviously a lot more has been going on like me starting a new job and Josh being the kind of yard work.  He rules. Marriage is awesome for those wondering...

Ice cream cone balloons.

My mom had to decorate for an ice cream social last night. My sister had seen an idea to turn balloons into ice cream cones on this blog and passed it along to my mom. Of course we decided to try it out.
Here was the inspiration picture...
Here was the result! We added "dipped" cones using confetti, which I think made them.

When you get married..

You start to get really excited about things such as bushes.
We decided on Boxwoods for the front yard..I really love that they stay green all year round and look manicured. Nora helped me plant the mums on either side of our porch.
I love that the front of our house is starting to look more homey. We are debating on some bigger changes...I'll keep you updated!

Yard work...with a little "help"

Josh and I had a yard work day yesterday. My sister's kids came over to help us!
I was such a warm day so we had lots of drink and run through the sprinkler breaks.
We did get a lot done and our yard is looking a lot better! (The grass was all dead when we moved in)

Hebgen Lake

My brother-in-law Rob was nice enough to share his favorite place in the world with us last weekend. His family has been going there since his mom's grandmother. The cabin has been left almost the exact same over the years. It is so charming and cozy!

The kids are in heaven when they are there catching frogs, having races, playing in the sand, etc etc. I think it is so cool that their kids will grow up with that being their "special place," just like their dad did.

It was absolutely beautiful. Nora was especially in heaven. I don't know if she had ever been happier.

Thanks Rob and Chels!

leaving this place.

We're leaving for a few days at Hebgen Lake. My brother in law's family has been going there for years. It is definitely "their thing." I have never been, so I am excited to check it out. Nora is REALLY excited as well.

Goodbye house!
PS. I really love our mailbox. A lot.

just a stroll.

We really love Downtown. And miss it.
